Katie Greer to Speak on Internet and Technology Safety for Families

Dover-Sherborn Challenge Success is pleased to announce that DSEF is bringing Katie Greer, expert on Internet & Technology Safety, to the DS Community.

Monday, October 16th
6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Mudge Auditorium, Dover-Sherborn High School

Katie-Greer

On Monday, October 16th, DSEF will sponsor nationally recognized internet and social media expert Katie Greer to speak with students at all four Dover-Sherborn schools, followed by an evening presentation to parents and guardians (18+ only). RSVP HERE to Register for this event.

Ms. Greer will give DS students (during the day) and
parents/guardians (during the evening) an overview of the importance of managing use of technology and online presence, as well as the potential dangers and responsibilities that these new technologies and platforms give them. She will guide our students toward a more mature view of their online lives, and arm parents and educators with the tools, tips, resources, and mindset to be able to communicate with and successfully steer our children through this minefield of choices.

Learn more about Katie and her background at www.klgreer.com.

This event is generously brought to our community by the Dover Sherborn Educational Fund (DSEF).
The mission of the Dover-Sherborn Education Fund is to provide to the public schools of Dover and Sherborn the resources necessary to improve curriculum, programs and services beyond that which is supported in the annual school budgets.
