DSEF… Funding Extraordinary Opportunities

The DSEF Phonathon is the Dover Sherborn Education Fund’s biggest fundraiser of the year.  Please consider donating when our parent volunteers call on either Monday, February 5th or Tuesday, February 6th.

Many thanks to Dover Sherborn parents, community members, and friends who give generously to enable DSEF to fund grants for all four of our schools. To those who attended our Fall Gala, we acknowledge and THANK YOU for the support you’ve already contributed this year!

Highlights of what we have funded for 2017 include:

• Makerspace Equipment and Root Robots at Chickering

• Recess is for Everyone and The Inside Out Project at Pine Hill

• Coding with Friends, Hands-on Science Equipment, and World Cultures Week at the Middle School

• Library Reorganization, the CNC Engineering Machine, and Conversations about Race in America at the High School

• All four schools benefited from our continued support of Challenge Success and SPAN-DS, as well as Katie Greer’s Internet Safety Presentation in the fall

• Most recently, the entire DS faculty participated in a very important and worthwhile training in Cultural Responsiveness and Practices
